On display in Gallery 1 at East Quay until Sunday 31st January 2027
Featuring work by selected artists
I’m very pleased to announce I have had ‘The Outsider’ and mixtapes selected for the Joy exhibition currently showing at East Quay, Watchet, Somerset, UK.
About the exhibition:
What does joy mean to you? What brings joy? How does it take shape in your body, your practice, your relationships, or your connection to place? Is joy fleeting or sustaining, quiet or expansive, deeply personal or shared? Where does joy live in everyday life, and how can it be cultivated, protected, shared, or re-imagined?
The artists in this exhibition respond to these questions through an eclectic range of personal, reflective practices. From treasured relationships, pets, and landscapes, to abstract paintings and sculptures – from colourful florals and nostalgic possessions to stories of resilience and power, these works invite us to consider how joy can be gentle yet transformative, tender yet resonant, and quietly essential to how we keep going through difficult times.
